Mandel Schrager, Executive Vice President and Principal of Consumer Centers of New York and New Jersey, has been providing management, marketing, strategy and branding consulting to clients including those in media, entertainment, communications, pharmaceuticals, imported foods, financial services, consumer products, HBA, electronics, packaged goods, retail, travel, transportation, real estate and high tech industries as well as in business-to-business areas.
Consumer Convergencetm is at the core of Manny’s success. His toolkit includes qualitative and quantitative methodologies – conducting over 2000 focus groups, individual interviews and in-context ethnographies and incorporating UX, eye-tracking, prototype labs and creativity sessions to uncover compelling insights. He frequently integrates his economics and finance background with quantitative methodologies addressing issues such messaging, product and packaging design and feature enhancement, and development and testing marketing new products, strategies and advertising.
Prior to joining Consumer Centers, Mr. Schrager was a Senior Manager in the Management Consulting Services group of Price Waterhouse (PWC). There he specialized in financial and management consulting for a broad range of clients.
Mr. Schrager is a past President of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Finance. He has made numerous presentations at QRCA and Marketing Research Association events on the international and local level. He has been a guest lecturer at Rutgers University on Qualitative Research Techniques and Stevens Institute of Technology speaking on the Application of Quantitative Methodologies in the business climate of today. He has also conducted and chaired seminars on “Integrating Ongoing Market Research into the Work Environment”.
